What if it doesnβt give the face value
π£ 7:48
β Questions 7 and 8 donβt tell you the face value.
β Bonds are often quoted based on a face value of $100. In questions 7 and 8, if it says, for example, that a bond is selling for $99.54, that means that it is selling for $99.54 per $100 of face value. Given this, you can assume F=$100 for these problems, but be careful applying this elsewhere because you donβt want to leap to conclusions.
